Levey Group Leases 150,000 Square Feet to Crane Worldwide

HOUSTON – January 29, 2013 – Levey Group, an industrial development company, executed a 150,000 square foot office/warehouse lease with Crane Worldwide Logistics, LLC at 6501 Navigation. This 21.6-acre complex is located East of downtown Houston near the ship channel.

Crane Worldwide is a full-service air, ocean, trucking, brokerage and logistics company with 78 stations in 22 countries.

“This is an ideal facility for Crane Worldwide,” says David Ebro, President of Levey Group. “The size of the Navigation facility accommodates Crane’s requirements allowing them to consolidate other operations of theirs into one facility while maintaining expansion capacity within the development.”

Levey Group purchased the 32-acre complex, which was formerly occupied by Reed Hycalog. In 2011, Levey Group sold 10-acres to CenterPoint Energy. Since then, Levey redeveloped the facility by demolishing several of the functionally obsolete buildings and rebuilt a portion of the main building to provide congruent column spacing and slab elevation.

The remaining 136,000 square feet are available for lease and feature heavy power, dock and grade level access and 24’ clear height.

Jim Foreman and Beau Kaleel with Cushman and Wakefield represented Levey Group in the transaction. Ed Frantz and Kevin Kushner with CB Richard Ellis represented Crane Worldwide Logistics.
