Levey Group Under Contract to Sell Building and Land to Tristar Glass, Inc.

HOUSTON – SEPTEMBER 25, 2014 – Levey Group and TriStar Glass Products have executed an earnest money contract for a design-build facility on 5.26 acres inside IAH Business Park. The development will include a 66,000 square foot crane-served facility featuring a 4,000 amp electrical service, drive through site plan configuration with additional land for TriStar’s future expansion capability.

Levey Group originally developed plans for a 50,000 square foot spec facility for which it had submitted plans for permit review to the City of Houston at the time that TriStar expressed an interest in establishing their Houston presence inside IAH Business Park.

The parties engaged in active dialogue to solidify the particulars of the transaction and reached final agreement within less than one month of their initial contact. TriStar decided upon IAH Business Park because of the shortened delivery timeline Levey is able to offer because on account of the “construction-ready” state of the business park combined with Levey Group’s reputation and experience as a 30-year development company in the Greater Houston Metro Area.

TriStar is based out of Oklahoma and specializes in the fabrication of architectural and interior annealed, tempered and laminated glass for

applications ranging from architectural glass curtain wall systems to laminated glass canopies.

IAH Business Park is adjacent to Bush Intercontinental Airport along Aldine Westfield Road between Richey and Rankin Road in north Houston. The company’s preliminary site-plan for the remainder of the park depicts over 100,000 square feet of single-tenant industrial space with sites featuring outside storage and room for building expansion.
