Formerly a grocery store, this property had been vacant for a long while. Through a broker relationship, Levey purchased the property at a significant discount. Because of the building’s low clear height, we recognized its limited functionality, along with the value of existing tilt-wall improvements and paving. We raised the roof and leased the building to the University of Texas Medical Branch, then sold to the end user upon the lease expiration.
